A weekly newspaper from a world where the cats run the newsroom.
Tucked between game prototypes and dev logs, you’ll find one of my favourite creative projects: The Whiskered Gazette — a cosy, character‑driven mini‑newspaper written from the perspective of an eccentric feline press corps. Each issue brings gentle chaos from the garden bureau, biscuit‑related scandals from the break room, emotional weather forecasts, and the occasional pompous editorial from Mr Whiskers himself.
The Gazette began as a playful experiment — a way to blend storytelling, world‑building, and a touch of whimsy into something light enough to brighten a reader’s day. It’s grown into a recurring series with its own cast, running jokes, and even a developing subplot (Hector is very busy these days).
